Yay, it’s Friday! Hopefully this weekend I will be able to work more on my space invaders clone.
In the hour or two I’ve managed to put into the project so far, I have a nearly pixel-perfect SI clone. The gameplay is more accurate than the online versions I’ve found,. The update loop work like the actual arcade – moving one alien per update. This gives the aliens the classic rippling effect to their movement, and causes the armada’s speed to increase pace as the aliens die, without need for additional logic.
